Our Philosophy
At Roots Learning Center we believe in the uniqueness of each child we serve. We provide developmentally appropriate play-based learning experiences to promote each child’s own individual social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. As caregivers and educators, our mission is to provide a safe, loving and educationally rich learning environment which fosters a child’s natural desire to explore, discover and create. We know how important the early childhood years are and our goal is to develop a life-long love of learning in your child.
About Us
Our program is highly rated by state and national certifying agencies. We serve children from 2.5 to 5 years old with low teacher-student ratios and a smaller class size. Our teachers are highly qualified and fully certified by the Maryland State Department of Education. We believe, as Albert Einstein said, "Play is the highest form of learning". We use a researched and play based curriculum called Creative Curriculum. Check out our other tabs for more information.

Before Care:
7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.
School Day:
8:15 a.m.-2:45 p.m.
After Care:
2:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

We are located in Frostburg, MD between Beall Elementary School and Mountain Ridge High School
